Dixen's Family and Penelope

Dixen is Nick's stuffed animal. Dixen is a reindeer. Nick has grown very attached to Dixen. He's had Dixen since he was in kindergarten. Nick is currently in seventh grade, and he still owns Dixen. Same as he was in kindergarten. He still has the scarf, and everything. Nick also, years later, bought a stuffed dog he named Jenny. They "married" and had a baby reindeer, Brandon. (Brad for short) Penelope is a bear Nick's dad got his mom for their anniversary. She is a friend of Dixen, Jenny, and Brad, and has an irrational fear of dogs. She's always thinking they'll chew on her.

About the animals: DIXEN: Dixen was a stuffed animal Nick bought around Christmas time, and Nick was in kindergarten. They went to one store (I forget which store I bought him at) and saw him at the bottom shelf of a rusty old aisleway. He was a stuffed reindeer with a green and red scarf. The scarf had tiny gold bows at the end of it. Nick wanted the reindeer, so his parents bought it for him. The name Dixen came about because Nick was trying to remember that song... "You know Dasher...and Dancer...and Prancer... and Vixon..." He was going to choose Vixon for the reindeer's name, but he couldn't remember if it was Vixon, or Dixon. He ended up choosing Dixon. Turns out he was wrong. But that makes Dixen unique. He changed the O in Dixon to an E. Dixen. Nick loved Dixen. He took him everywhere he went. He even brought him to show-and-tell in first grade! Nick taught Dixen how to fly, and now Nick is in seventh grade, and still has Dixen in perfect condition. Scarf is still on. He's had Dixen for at least eight years. JENNY: Probably about, in fourth grade, Nick went with his mother to a stuffed animal store and found two dogs that looked just like their dogs, Jenny and Chase. So they bought them because they looked like their dogs. A year later somehow they lost the Chase stuffed animal, and only Jenny remained. So Jenny and Dixen met each other and it was love at first sight. Dixen and Jenny were dating for a while, then decided to get married. Around Christmas time of 2007, Jenny got pregnant and had their newborn baby, Brad. BRAD: Brad was born before Christmas. Dixen tried to teach him how to fly like him, but Brad couldn't get the hang of it. Jenny was starting to worry that because she was a dog and couldn't fly, that little Brad might have gotten those traits of unable to fly from her. They were very sad when he never got the hang of it, but when midnight struck at 2008, January 1st, Brad could fly! The new year helped him soar! Dixen and Jenny were so proud of him! Brad still lives with his parents in Nick's room. PENELOPE: One of Nick's parent's anniversaries happened one year. Nick's dad got a stuffed animal bear for his wife. The bear was holding a heart that said I love you on it. The dad kept it in his room for a while, but Penelope didn't like it. She didn't like that the dad moved around so much, so the mom put her in Nick's room. Penelope eventually got to know Dixen and his family well, and the porkers well, too. Dixen, Brad, and Jenny know the porkers well, also. Penelope got to know one pig very well, and married him. His name is Love, and they had two kids: Clue and Li'l Porker. Anyway, Penelope slept with Nick, until he got Fuzz, Kinz, and Plush as new pigs for Christmas. Then they all slept in that bed. Until Nick's mom got Nick a shelf to hold his pigs, but beside that...now Penelope sleeps alone. She gets lonely at night sometimes, and Nick tells her a story before she goes to bed.
